If you want to know a little more about me, this is the place.
It turns out that I'm actually a lot of different things all combined into one rather interesting whole. I have always been an artist, taking an interest in traditional art like painting and photography at an early age.
I am also a highly skilled writer, having become passionate for writing stories and creating worlds since as early as ten years old.
When computers and the Internet became more widely available I was completely engrossed. I wanted to know how it all worked, even trying to figure out computer code on my own as early as eleven. With the Internet I have always loved community building.
My interest in community building started at the age of thirteen when I created a number of forums and built communities around an array of topics. I have always loved the administrator side to the user experience.
As I got older I branched out to study in a lot of different areas. I started college for Graphic Design, so I do have some college experience under me that includes design, photography, typography, and Adobe software including both Photoshop and Illustrator.
Over time I discovered my own deeper passion for data, research, and analysis and after finding Digital Marketing I decided to change my college course to Marketing Management. Digital Marketing brings together most of my skills and independent studies into one big picture, which I greatly enjoy.
I am an analytical thinker and enjoy games of strategy. If I had to describe my mind in terms of games, it would most resemble chess, Tetris, and jigsaw puzzles. I am able to look at strategic situations through a sort of 'aerial view' like you would in chess, assessing the strengths and weaknesses of an opponent, as well as the risks involved in making decisions. For Tetris, I am able to see things in a structural way in which I can observe how things 'fit' in relation to others.
This can apply to concept-based challenges as well as physical-based ones. I also relate myself to jigsaw puzzles because I am able to break a problem down into smaller groups and 'piece' situations together to analyze the best course of action.
I am a deep thinker and am just as happy left to my thoughts as I am consuming entertainment media. I enjoy the areas of science, philosophy, physics, digital science, and personal development.
I also am passionate about other cultures and languages, having started teaching myself Chinese at ten, Latin at thirteen, and Japanese at fifteen. I would love to formally learn these languages, and others, in their entirety and do still enjoy online resources for continuing to develop my abilities in these languages.
I have a number of hobbies, the most prominent being writing, studying, working on projects, and a variety of arts and crafting. I enjoy learning and spend a majority of my time researching my main topics of interest. I have a book series in progress that has been in planning for more than seventeen years, but enjoy writing short stories on occasion as well.
As for projects, I am ambitious with an entrepreneurial spirit. I have games in planning as well as a number of companies that I would very much like to get out there into the larger world and off my 'marketing experiments' shelf.
Hope this helps build a bit of a picture of me. Take some time to look around my website as well as my other blog posts. I have a few really interesting topics in the works, so keep checking back for more!
